Let's start with a very early pickup at your hotel (around 6 am) to avoid the crowds and the heat. Ek Balam archeological site is located about 2 hours away from Playa del Carmen. After a guided visit of the ruins with a certified guide, we will take bikes or tricycle taxis for a 10-minute ride through the Mayan jungle to reach the X'Canche Cenote.

 

There, we'll have time to swim, refresh, take pictures and admire the jungle and the giant roots growing deep in the water. 

 

Once refreshed, we'll go back to the van and i'll offer you the option to visit a beautiful church nearby built by the Spanish on the 17 century.

 

Lastly, we'll drive to Valladolid, to visit and walk through the center of this colonial city. There we will also have a typical Mexican lunch in a little restaurant to stay away from the crowds.

Last optional stop is a Tequila distillery (no extra charge) to wrap up a tasty experience!!
